Silva’s Equine Outreach, Inc. is a local 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in Bellingham, MA, dedicated to providing inclusive equine‑assisted and farm‑based experiences for individuals of all abilities. Through meaningful interaction with horses and friendly barnyard animals, we help children, teens, and adults build confidence, emotional well‑being, and genuine connection in a space where every person is welcomed, supported, and seen.

What we do

At Silva’s Equine Outreach, Inc., we design experiences that honor each person’s unique needs, strengths, and goals. Our programs are hands-on, heart-led, and horse-powered.

Equine-Assisted Experiences

We partner with schools, therapy practices, ABA centers, speech and OT providers, and community organizations to offer meaningful, developmentally supportive sessions for children and teens. We meet kids where they are — and help them grow from there.

Visitors are welcomed into a peaceful, family‑friendly environment where they can slow down, breathe, and experience the healing rhythm of farm life. Our farm is home to a diverse and gentle herd, giving individuals of all ages and abilities the chance to build meaningful relationships with animals in a safe, supportive setting.

Silva’s Equine Outreach, Inc. extends the same heart‑centered, connection‑driven experience of our farm directly to your home, school, or community event. Our Mobile Petting Farm is designed to create meaningful moments of joy, confidence, and calm — wherever you are.

Just like our on‑farm programs, this mobile experience invites children and families to slow down, breathe, and connect with gentle animals in a safe, supportive environment. Every visit is intentionally crafted to be sensory‑friendly, hands‑on, and deeply engaging for individuals of all ages and abilities.

A Heart‑Led, Hands‑On Animal Experience

Our mobile farm brings a small herd of friendly, well‑socialized animals right to your doorstep. Guests are encouraged to pet, groom, observe, and interact at their own pace, supported by an experienced handler who ensures comfort, safety, and connection throughout the visit.

Each animal plays a unique role in helping visitors feel calm, confident, and connected — whether through touch, observation, or simple shared presence.
